These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ryan gets a clinch.

Ryan jumps guard and drags Glinner to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Glinner accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Ryan keeping moving, preventing Glinner from controlling successfully.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ryan manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Glinner manages to get himself to full guard.

Ryan working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Glinner's head.

Glinner is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Glinner looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Ryan is defending well. Glinner quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Ryan has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Glinner celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
