Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Kalvin Harper! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, Crack Addict! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Ackerman and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Harper changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Addict looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. The referee asks Harper politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Harper prefers to stall for the moment though. Harper fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Harper lands a few punches from side control. Harper has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Harper sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Addict is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Harper landing strikes. Addict is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Harper fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Addict seems a little lost for a moment, as Harper dominates the positioning. Harper lands some shots froms side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Addict takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Harper remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Harper misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Addict takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Addict looks winded! Harper in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Harper scoring with punches and elbows. Harper lands a few punches from side control. Harper looks up at the clock and then as Addict takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Harper smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Harper cracks Addict with a big elbow. Harper landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Harper controlling from side mount. Addict is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Harper scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Addict to see if he's OK. Harper scoring with punches and elbows. Harper creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Addict sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Harper lands a nice forearm strike. Addict is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Harper is chipping away with strikes.
A lull in the action here as Harper stalls from top position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Harper scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Addict to see if he's OK. Addict being controlled for a moment. Addict on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Harper is putting a hurting on Addict here, landing some big shots from side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kalvin Harper dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Addict really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Harper. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Harper slips a nice elbow through Addict's hands, connecting with Addict's forehead. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Harper lands a nice short elbow. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Harper in particular looking to stall. Harper takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Harper looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Harper lands strikes from half guard. Harper landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Harper looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Addict with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Harper takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Harper slips a nice elbow through Addict's hands, connecting with Addict's forehead. Harper is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Harper drops an elbow to the side of Addict's head. Harper uses his free foot to push down on Addict's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Addict. Addict takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Addict taking shots to the head. Harper has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Addict's face.
Harper lands with some strikes. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Harper lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Harper cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

That's three minutes gone in the round. Harper with a couple of short strikes. Harper working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Addict turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Harper off and cradles Addict's limp body as Harper celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:25 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Kalvin Harper! Kalvin Harper decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
