Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Christopher Sohlberg (ranked 5223 p4p, 368 weight class) and Jack Westermann (ranked 5893 p4p, 402 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Christopher Sohlberg! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jack Westermann! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Nard Betker and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sohlberg tries to clinch there but Westermann circles away.
Sohlberg tests Westermann's chin there with a solid looking shot. Westermann closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Sohlberg's guard. Sohlberg wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Sohlberg knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Westermann on the ground. Westermann throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Sohlberg works some decent striking defense from the bottom. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Westermann working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Westermann tries to free his leg and advance position but Sohlberg is retaining full guard. Sohlberg on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Sohlberg tries to get out of the position. Westermann engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Westermann forces his way into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sohlberg tries to get to full guard but Westermann has control of the leg. Westermann seems to be looking for submissions.
Westermann seems to be working for a kimura but Sohlberg defends the submission attempt. Westermann missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Westermann trying to mount his opponent but Sohlberg defends it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sohlberg trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!

That's three minutes gone in the round. Westermann controlling the pace for now. Westermann lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Westermann lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Westermann is working for the choke. It looks like he might have got it... has he...? Yes! Sohlberg is tapping out! This one is all over!
