Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Pete Levy (ranked 6549 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Cutter (ranked 5082 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, John Cutter! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Levy slips a jab and a cross from Cutter.
Cutter shoots for a double leg takedown but Levy sprawls well. He's pushed Cutter's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Cutter closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Levy really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Cutter is looking to break free of the clinch but Levy has double underhooks. Levy is trying to pull guard but Cutter turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Levy escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Cutter moves into range and clinches up with Levy. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Levy breaks from the clinch.

Cutter shoots in looking for a takedown. Levy tries to sprawl out of it but Cutter keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Levy manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. No luck with that takedown attempt from Cutter. Cutter has managed to clinch.
Levy keeps control of Cutter as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Levy pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Cutter forces Levy back against the cage and clinches. Cutter tries to break the clinch but Levy is controlling the position. Levy manages to break the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A shot to the body from Levy misses and Cutter counters with a series of strikes. Levy will be more careful next time no doubt.
It looks like Pete Levy has been cut. Cutter clinches up with Levy and pushes him back against the cage. Cutter has had enough of the clinch but Levy keeps him there for the moment. Levy breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Cutter closes the distance and pushes Levy back into the cage. Levy managing to block the knees to the body from Cutter.
Levy escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Cutter scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Cutter scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Cutter throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Levy works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Cutter with a flurry of punches that miss.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Levy takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Cutter has Levy up against the cage in a clinch.

Levy is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Levy drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Levy jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Levy will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. That's three minutes gone in the round. Levy looks to land a right hand but Cutter moved out of range. Cutter throws a nice looking combination but Levy bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Levy tries to counter by clinching up but Cutter breaks away and moves out of range. A left and a right from Cutter both land. Nice combination. Levy fails to land with a series of punches.
Cutter closes the distance and pushes Levy back into the cage. Levy is looking to break free of the clinch but Cutter has double underhooks. Levy tries to pull guard but Cutter won't allow it.
Levy's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Cutter gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Levy counters by moving into the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cutter misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Levy.

Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Levy working hard to break the clinch. Pete Levy has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! John Cutter is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Cutter blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
And that's the end of the fight! John Cutter comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Cutter has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
