Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sven Eklund (ranked 1531 p4p, 74 weight class) and Diego Columbo (ranked 3408 p4p, 139 weight class). Eklund comes into the arena with Home Grown blaring out of the sound system. Diego Columbo will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, William Peck and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eklund with a lazy takedown attempt
letting Columbo counter with a right hand.
Eklund tries for a takedown but Columbo circles away easily
and Eklund takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Eklund shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Columbo defends it nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sven Eklund. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Eklund takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Eklund avoids a punch combination nicely.
A slow jab from Columbo misses its intended target.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Columbo drops Eklund with a huge uppercut! Eklund drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Columbo is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
