Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Cruz (ranked 2346 p4p, 99 weight class) and Jon Bones (ranked 5646 p4p, 175 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 4 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kyle Cruz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jon Bones! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Alec Ball and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No joy there for Bones, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Bones swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Cruz. Cruz feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Cruz lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Cruz lands a couple of digs. Cruz landing with the ground and pound. Cruz distracts Bones with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Cruz has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Cruz wants to control from the top but Bones keeps moving. Cruz cracks Bones with a solid left hand. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bones can do anything to dispel that myth. Cruz trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Cruz trying to control the position from guard on top but Bones is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bones controls Cruz momentarily but Cruz frees himself. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cruz works a leg free and moves into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cruz passes to full mount! Bones tries to get back to half guard but can't. Cruz lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Cruz landing strikes, looking to finish! Cruz landing punches. Cruz controlling the position easily from mount. Bones is bucking up trying to escape but Cruz cracks him with another couple of good strikes. A nice elbow there by Cruz. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Cruz lands a couple of good shots and Bones has given up his back, trying to escape the position! Cruz loading up with punches from the back mount - how long can Bones hold on?
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bones is taking damage to the body and head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cruz is riding his opponent, not letting Bones buck him off. Cruz is working the ground and pound. Can Bones escape? Cruz scores with strikes from the back.
Cruz lands a shot to the body.
Bones is rocked! Cruz lands a big shot to the side of the head and Bones goes limp! He's out cold - the ref jumps in to save him from more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Kyle Cruz!
