Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between One Three (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeet Kune Do (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jeet Kune Do will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, One Three! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jeet Kune Do! The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Luis Engracia and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Three throws out a token jab with nothing on it. A swing and a miss from Three. Three misses with a hook. Kune Do ducked under it nicely. Kune Do uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Three. Kune Do tries to clinch up. Kune Do uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Three. Kune Do displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Three throws out the jab. Kune Do has a takedown stuffed. Kune Do uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Three. Three misses with a hook. Kune Do ducked under it nicely. Three looks to throw the jab but Kune Do is out of range. A jab from Three misses. Three stuffs the takedown attempt from Kune Do. Kune Do gets slowly back to his feet. Kune Do shoots in but Three avoids the takedown attempt easily. One Three has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jeet Kune Do. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kune Do moves out of range as Three strikes. Three misses with a straight left. Three connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Kune Do momentarily.
Kune Do fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Three stuffs the takedown.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kune Do shoots in but no luck this time. Three swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Kune Do is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Three looks to throw the jab but Kune Do is out of range. Three throws a looping overhand right but Kune Do ducks down to avoid it. Kune Do bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Kune Do ducks under a wild hook from Three. Three is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kune Do. Kune Do fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Kune Do slips a jab from Three. Three misses with a looping left. Three getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Three throws a big shot that misses. Three throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kune Do sees it coming and avoids it easily. Kune Do slips a straight right by Three. Three throws a jab but it's blocked by Kune Do. Three misses with a straight left. Kune Do moves out of range of the body kick from Three.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Nice uppercut lands for Three. That snapped Kune Do's head back.
Kune Do shoots in for a double leg but Three sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Kune Do looks gassed! Three uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kune Do.
Three lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Kune Do is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Kune Do shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Three but Three pushes him off and we're back to square one. Kune Do walks straight into a right hand from Three - that's dropped him! Three jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Kune Do from any more punishment! Kune Do complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). One Three!
