Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Boomer Jackson (ranked 5035 p4p, 0 weight class) and Archibald Lee (ranked 24896 p4p, 0 weight class). Boomer Jackson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Boomer Jackson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Archibald Lee! The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Chad Campbell and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lee tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jackson paws at him with a jab and circles away. Horrible takedown attempt by Jackson or perhaps it was just good defense by Lee, which made it look bad. Lee shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jackson but Jackson pushes him off and we're back to square one. Jackson avoids a kick to the body.
Jackson closes the distance and clinches. Jackson pushes Lee back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Jackson is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Jackson drags the fight down to the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jackson controls Lee momentarily but Lee frees himself. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jackson looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Lee has picked Jackson up and slammed him! Jackson can't keep hold of the triangle and Lee manages to pass to side control! Jackson is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Lee is controlling him well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson can't do much from the bottom here. Jackson is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Jackson looking for a sweep but Lee has passed into full mount! Oh no! Lee working for a submission but Jackson is keeping him at bay. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jackson is desperately trying to improve his position but Lee has a good base and remains in mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Jackson is squirming around, avoiding Lee's attempts to control the action. Lee manages to capitalize on a mistake by Jackson to take his back! Jackson is trying to get back to his feet but Lee has full control of the position and if anything, Jackson has just worked his way into a worse spot. Lee keeps control of the position as Jackson tries to break free.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Lee looking to break Jackson's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Jackson remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Lee will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! Lee gets his hands free as Jackson looks to control. Lee is hanging on to Jackson's back as he tries to escape.
Lee has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. Lee throwing sloppy strikes. Jackson is in bad spot here.
Jackson manages to scramble and ends up in full guard, under a barage of strikes . Great composure from Jackson.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jackson controls Lee momentarily but Lee frees himself. Jackson keeping moving, preventing Lee from controlling successfully. Jackson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Lee stands and steps away. Jackson gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Lee fails with a takedown attempt. Lee lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jackson circles away quickly and effectively. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Archibald Lee dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Jackson. Jackson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Lee has been the more effective fighter overall so far. No luck for Jackson with that takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Boomer Jackson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Lee has his takedown stuffed and Jackson counters with a one-two to the body. Lee throws a body shot but no joy. Jackson goes for a double leg but Lee avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Lee continues to drive forward. Jackson shoots in looking for a takedown but Lee manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jackson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Lee closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Jackson tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Lee misses with a punch to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lee working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet. Jackson wants to escape the position.
Lee is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Jackson has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. Lee trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Lee gets his hands free as Jackson looks to control. Jackson looking very determined here, making life difficult for Lee.
Lee is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Even with his hooks in, Lee manages to miss with strikes from the back. Lee misses with punches from the back. Jackson is in bad spot here.
Jackson is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Lee gets his way!

Jackson stands and steps away. Lee gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Lee shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Jackson counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Jackson wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Come on Jackson - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Jackson is looking for a takedown. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Jackson is trying to force a seperation but Lee has the dominant position. Jackson is defending well against a takedown attempt. Lee drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Archibald Lee showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Lee tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Jackson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Lee gets tackled into the cage by Jackson. Jackson maintains the clinch. Lee tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jackson has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Lee avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Lee tries to pull guard but Jackson forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Jackson goes for a takedown attempt but Lee pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

and Jackson counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Jackson.

Sloppy strikes from Jackson. Those never looked like landing. Lee tries to score a power double leg takedown but Jackson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lee somewhat. Boomer Jackson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Lee tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Jackson defends well and Lee ends up having to push Jackson into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Jackson went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Lee shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Jackson moves into the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jackson's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Jackson wants to break free but Lee has control.

Lee jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Jackson walks away with a smile on his face. Lee gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Jackson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Jackson looking for a takedown. Boomer Jackson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Archibald Lee is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Lee fails to pull the fight into his guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Boomer Jackson showed his dominance in that final round. I think Lee has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
