Star clinches with his opponent.
Byrd tries to pull guard but Star forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Byrd gets underhooks to prevent Star's takedown attempt.
Star is trying to break the clinch but Byrd is controlling him.
Byrd fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Star drops down looking for an ankle pick but Byrd pulls his leg out and moves away.
Nice takedown defense from Star. No joy for Byrd on that attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tomas Byrd. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A left and a right from Star both land. Nice combination.
