Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Trey Brown (ranked 4831 p4p, 432 weight class) and Brian Colt (ranked 3426 p4p, 352 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 38 - 25 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Trey Brown!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brian Colt!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Nard Betker and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Colt bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Colt has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Brown is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Colt lands with a nice body kick.
Brown uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Colt.
Brown slips under a jab from Colt.
Colt throws a body kick that misses

and Brown counters with a takedown into side control.

Brown working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Brown is trying to get an arm triangle but Colt is defending well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Colt is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Brown postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Colt to stand up.
Colt connects with a single shot there.
Colt plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Brian Colt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Brown tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Colt swivels and escapes.
Colt misses the jab.

Brown changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Colt feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Browns jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Brown tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Colt swivels and escapes.
A solid leg kick lands there for Colt.
Brian Colt is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That kick from Colt tenderised Brown's leg. Brown is trying to keep his angry face on.
Colt throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Brown tries to counter with a takedown but Colt is quick to defend against it.
Brown shoots in but no luck this time.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Trey Brown. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Brown takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Brown drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Colt throws a hook but Brown avoids it easily.

Brown appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Colt throws an overhand right that lands on Brown's shoulder, as Brown tries to avoid the shot.
Colt throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Colt throws the left hand but Brown avoids the punch easily.
As Colt tries to get set, Brown tries to push him back and clinch up but Colt manages to avoid the attempt.
Brown throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Colt's waist but Colt gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Brown off to one side.
Brown uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Colt.
Brown shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Colt counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Brown is breathing heavily.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A good leg kick by Colt.
Colt connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Brown's hands.
Brown steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Colt. That one must have hurt.
Brown takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Colt lands a nice shot to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Colt lands a head kick!
Colt lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Brown has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Colt finds it's way round the side to connect with Brown's head.
Colt jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
A slapping body kick lands there for Colt.
Brown takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.


Brown is rocked!
Brown steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Colt. That one must have hurt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Brian Colt dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Colt lands with an uppercut that bounces Brown off the cage and back into range.
Nice uppercut lands for Colt. That snapped Brown's head back.
Oh Brown is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Colt scores with a body shot.
Colt jabs Brown right on the nose. Brown blinks but takes it well.
Colt jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Colt lets his hands go wild with a nice combination. Left! Right! Uppercut! Spinning backfist! Brown goes down and covers up as Colt starts wailing on him! The ref watches the action closely before stepping in and putting a stop to the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:27 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Brian Colt!
Brian Colt decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
