Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Marcel Petiot (ranked 1219 p4p, 138 weight class) and Miguel Harper (ranked 1049 p4p, 125 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Marcel Petiot! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Miguel Harper! The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Ivan Kurochkin and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Petiot misses with a two punch combination.
Harper fails to land the takedown. Petiot is looking to counter punch. Harper doesn't succeed with the takedown and Petiot counters with a nice uppercut. Petiot really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Harper shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Petiot's guard. Harper throws a big elbow that misses. Harper missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Harper with a flurry of punches that miss. Harper stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Petiot swivels though and keeps the full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Harper loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Petiot on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Petiot tries to get out of the position. Petiot keeping moving, preventing Harper from controlling successfully. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Harper throws a big right hand that misses. Petiot seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.
That's one minute gone in the round. Petiot being controlled here, momentarily. Harper pushing down on Petiot's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Harper wants to control but Petiot is keeping him busy. Harper is looking to advance position but Petiot won't allow it. Harper thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Harper controlling the action here. Harper landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Harper is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Harper is trying to control. Petiot wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Harper is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Harper thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Petiot's head. Petiot knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Harper on the ground. Harper maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Petiot could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Harper has cracked it and Petiot is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Harper!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Miguel Harper! Miguel Harper retains his featherweight title! A relieved looking Miguel Harper thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
