Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Billy Quinn (ranked 2801 p4p, 301 weight class) and Axel Solomon (ranked 3123 p4p, 335 weight class). Solomon has chosen Beatdown as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Billy Quinn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Axel Solomon!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Winston Howard and Darius Henderson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quinn tries to move into range but Solomon moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Quinn closes the distance and pushes Solomon back into the cage.

Solomon looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Solomon breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Quinn lands with a straight right. Solomon didn't see that one coming.
Quinn bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Quinn looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

and Quinn counters with a three punch combo that has Solomon backing up. Solomon nods at Quinn to acknowledge the strikes.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Solomon is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Quinn is controlling him.
Quinn controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Solomon is looking to stand up but Quinn isn't so interested in that idea.

Quinn drops back looking for a leg! Solomon is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Solomon manages to kick Quinn off! Quinn jumps back into Solomon's guard.
Quinn has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
