Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bill From Killer Hill! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, James Moriarty! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Daniel Franklin and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! From Killer Hill wants to clinch up but Moriarty keeps it at a distance. Moriarty with a nice cross. From Killer Hill lands with a hook. Moriarty tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Moriarty lands with a nice body punch. Moriarty lands a straight punch to the body, keeping From Killer Hill at a distance.
From Killer Hill misses with a double jab
and Moriarty counters with a left and a right that hurts From Killer Hill! He wobbles and falls to the floor - he's in big trouble! Moriarty jumps into full mount!
From Killer Hill is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. From Killer Hill holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Moriarty tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Moriarty won't let From Killer Hill get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Moriarty throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for From Killer Hill because Moriarty loaded up on that one. Moriarty controlling the position easily from mount. Poor strikes thrown by Moriarty there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Moriarty trying to control but From Killer Hill is having none of it. Moriarty throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. From Killer Hill wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Moriarty really doesn't want to stay on the ground with From Killer Hill. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Moriarty punching from mount but From Killer Hill doing a good job of avoiding damage. Moriarty throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
From Killer Hill is trying to stand. From Killer Hill avoids a series of strikes thrown by Moriarty.
Moriarty misses with a head shot. Moriarty controlling the position easily from mount. Moriarty punishing his opponent with strikes. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. From Killer Hill is breathing heavily. Moriarty unloads with some shots from mount but From Killer Hill bucks and avoids them well.
From Killer Hill is trying to stand. Moriarty raining down hammerfists from mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Moriarty misses with a head shot. From Killer Hill avoids a series of strikes thrown by Moriarty.
Moriarty thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Moriarty postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked From Killer Hill badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Moriarty around the waist but Moriarty pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Moriarty is the winner by TKO! Moriarty jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). James Moriarty! James Moriarty decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
