Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Julius Little! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Isao Hidetaka! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yuuki Gou and Shirou Masuda.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hidetaka shoots in and drives through. Little sprawls well. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Hidetaka, right into the meat.
Hidetaka shoots for a takedown but Little saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Little looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Little circles away from the clinch attempt.
Little fails with the takedown
and Hidetaka counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Hidetaka slows the pace down in half guard. Little is looking to improve his position.
Little moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Little will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
 That's one minute gone in the round.
Hidetaka avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Hidetaka stands and steps away. Little gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Little with a poor takedown and Hidetaka counters with a nice body kick. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Julius Little. That's going to take a lot out of him. Little is breathing heavily.
Hidetaka shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Hidetaka was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Hidetaka has control of Little's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Little regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Hidetaka lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Hidetaka landing strikes, looking to finish! Little regains half guard. Hidetaka wants to free his trapped foot but Little is holding on for dear life with his legs. Little moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Little working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hidetaka doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hidetaka manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Little keeping full guard, as Hidetaka tries to pass. Hidetaka wants to control from the top but Little keeps moving.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
 Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Little tries to close the distance and clinch but Hidetaka swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Little keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Little fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Little has his takedown stuffed
and Hidetaka counters with a single leg into guard. Little didn't expect that. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hidetaka with a flurry of punches that miss.
Little has his foot on Hidetaka's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hidetaka works his way back into a safe position though. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Isao Hidetaka dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Little looks for a takedown but Hidetaka sprawls well. Hidetaka misses with a takedown attempt - Little sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Little has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hidetaka can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Little is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Little tries to pass the half guard into mount. Hidetaka knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Hidetaka flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Little seems to be working for a kimura but Hidetaka defends the submission attempt. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Little trying to mount his opponent but Hidetaka defends it.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Hidetaka avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Little. Little prevents Hidetaka from improving his position.

 The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Hidetaka tries to clinch there but Little circles away.

Little pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Little fails with the takedown
and Hidetaka counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Isao Hidetaka has got the better of the ground game so far. Little works his way to full guard. Good work. Little trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Hidetaka tries to free his leg and advance position but Little is retaining full guard.

Little is trying to control the action in half guard but Hidetaka is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Little is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Hidetaka is just riding it out for now. Little eventually gives up the hold. Hidetaka is trying to control but Little passes into side control!
And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Isao Hidetaka showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. And we move into the final round!

 That's one minute gone in the round. Little is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control. Hidetaka looking to control but Little is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Little is working to get back to half guard.

Hidetaka is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Little! Hidetaka is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Little can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

 That's three minutes gone in the round. Little is looking to improve his position but Hidetaka isn't that keen on the idea. Little tries to hold on but Hidetaka pushes him away. Little regains half guard. Little won't allow Hidetaka to pass to mount.

Julius Little has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Little is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Hidetaka's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Hidetaka's back! Hidetaka wants to control his opponent's hands but Little gets his hands free.
Little is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Hidetaka is defending well though. Little let's go of the attempt for now. Little throwing damaging strikes from the back! Hidetaka could be in trouble here!

And that's the end of the fight! Julius Little showed his dominance in that final round. I think Hidetaka has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
