Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between De Forest Treadwell (ranked 997 p4p, 137 weight class) and Simon Gustafsson (ranked 1134 p4p, 153 weight class). Treadwell comes to the cage accompanied by God gave me style, I’m coming home mix. This should be a great matchup!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Treadwell shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Treadwell was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Gustafsson is looking to regain half guard here but Treadwell keeps moving and retains side control.
Gustafsson throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land.

Treadwell stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gustafsson swivels though and keeps the full guard.

That has opened up Simon Gustafsson's cut even more.
Treadwell is looking to take a break and control but Gustafsson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Treadwell lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Treadwell looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Gustafsson with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Simon Gustafsson's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

De Forest Treadwell tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
