The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Griffith scores with a nice right hand.
Braddock thows a left - swing and a miss!
Braddock looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Braddock thuds his right hand into Griffith's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.


It looks like Anthony Griffith has been cut.

Braddock ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Griffith moves away.
Griffith throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Braddock sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Braddock takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Braddock throws a lazy right hand but Griffith sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Braddock misses with a straight right.
Braddock swings widly with a right hand
and Griffith connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Griffith misses with a low kick.

A jab from Griffith misses.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Griffith.
It looked like Braddock was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Griffith.
Griffith is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Griffith tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Braddock manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Griffith ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Braddock looks to score with a jab to the body but Griffith is just out of range.
Griffith is looking for the big counter here.
Griffith fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Griffith misses with an uppercut
and Braddock counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Griffith misses with a kick to the body.
Braddock was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

enabling Braddock to counter with a crisp jab.

Griffith throws a sloppy head kick and Braddock moves out of range easily.
Braddock takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Griffith throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
enabling Braddock to counter with a crisp jab.
Braddock lands with a right that hurts Griffith. Griffith looks to clinch but Braddock throws a short knee that drops Griffith. This one is all over!

A less than humble John Braddock misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
