PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight kickboxing rules bout between Anders Silver (ranked 7093 p4p, 524 weight class) and Bryant Smith (ranked 3917 p4p, 396 weight class). Smith is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Television - Marquee Moon. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith misses with a lunging right hand
and Silver makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Silver moves out of range as Smith strikes.
Smith rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
enabling Silver to counter with a crisp jab.
Smith throws a hook but Silver avoids it easily.
Silver lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.

and Silver counters with a nice low kick that buckles Smith's knee momentarily.

Smith has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

Silver really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

That was a close round but I would say that Anders Silver will probably get the nod.

It looks like Silver has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Silver here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
