Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dangelo Vargas (ranked 4472 p4p, 182 weight class) and Bartlomiej Jan (ranked 21741 p4p, 234 weight class). Dangelo Vargas could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Bartlomiej Jan's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dangelo Vargas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Bartlomiej Jan!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Chris Edwards and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vargas scores with the left hand. Jan knows he should have avoided that one.
Jan feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Vargas lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Vargas bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jan's guard.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Jan throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Vargas's waist but Vargas gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jan off to one side.
Vargas smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Jan ducks straight into an uppercut from Vargas and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Jan manages to regain guard straight away.

Vargas throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Jan.

Jan takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Vargas pounces like a tiger and cracks Jan with a vicious hook! Jan is down but not out! Vargas follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
