The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Joseph Jones and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cotto misses with a looping left.
Hartley takes a swing at Cotto's ribcage but misses.
Cotto appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Hartley throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Cotto feinted with a counter takedown.
Hartley lands with a good body shot.
Hartley stuns Cotto with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Cotto throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Cotto uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hartley.
Hartley fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Cotto checks it well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Cotto looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Cotto uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hartley.

Hartley wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Hartley throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A little feinted left hand from Cotto on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Hartley throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Cotto stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Andrew Hartley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cotto is breathing heavily.
Hartley's corner calls for a 1-2. Hartley obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Hartley will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

A looping hook to the body misses from Hartley. Cotto does a little dance to reset his feet.
Hartley sends Cotto crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Hartley is motioning to the referee to let Cotto up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Oh Cotto is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Cotto prevents Hartley from breaking the clinch.

Hartley misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Cotto will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Hartley up against the cage.

Cotto breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Hartley works Cotto's body with a nice hook.
Cotto misses with a combination
and Hartley counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Hartley lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Cotto at a distance.
Hartley fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Cotto to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Cotto looks to clinch but Hartley throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Cotto taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
