Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sergey Beznisko (ranked 258 p4p, 38 weight class) and Solomon Kahn (ranked 75 p4p, 12 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
26 - 17 - 1, fighting out of London, Sergey Beznisko! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
24 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Solomon Kahn! The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kahn uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Beznisko. Beznisko uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Kahn. Beznisko misses with a hook to the body
letting Kahn counter with a right hand. Beznisko scores with the left hand. Kahn knows he should have avoided that one. Beznisko connects with a body shot. Kahn swats away the attempt to clinch by Beznisko. Beznisko checks a leg kick. Beznisko appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Beznisko pushing out the jab but it's not landing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Beznisko throws a series of punches but Kahn avoids them all with ease. Beznisko tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kahn was well out of range. Poor timing from Beznisko. A little jabbing left from Kahn on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Beznisko blocks a jab. Beznisko misses with a body kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Beznisko slips under a jab from Kahn. Kahn takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Kahn tries to move into range but Beznisko moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
It looks like Solomon Kahn has been cut. Kahn slips a jab and a cross from Beznisko.
Kahn swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Kahn moves out of range as Beznisko throws a body kick.
Sergey Beznisko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Beznisko takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Beznisko misses with a looping left. Kahn walks into a stiff left hand from Beznisko. Beznisko walks into a jab. Beznisko lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Beznisko throws a hook but Kahn avoids it easily. Kahn avoids a punch combination nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Beznisko shoots in for a double leg but Kahn sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Beznisko doesn't succeed with the takedown and Kahn counters with a nice body shot. Beznisko is breathing heavily. Kahn catches Beznisko with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Nice shot by Kahn.
It looks like Sergey Beznisko has been cut. Beznisko swings away with a body shot that misses
and Kahn counters with a huge left! Beznisko is in big trouble! He's backing up but Kahn isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Beznisko from any more damage. A dominating finish by Kahn!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Solomon Kahn! Solomon Kahn retains his light heavyweight title! After the fight, Solomon Kahn was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
