Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kenuichio Harada (ranked 285 p4p, 37 weight class) and Larry Shreve Jr (ranked 292 p4p, 38 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harada misses with a straight right.
Harada throws a half hearted mid kick.
Shreve Jr throws a solid leg kick but Harada takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Shreve Jr.
Harada throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Harada throws a leg kick but Shreve Jr moved away.
Harada throws a leg kick that is checked
letting Shreve Jr counter with a right hand.
Harada looks to land a body kick but Shreve Jr moved away.
Shreve Jr is trying to counter with his kicks.
Shreve Jr punishes Harada's body with a nice straight punch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Harada tries to move into range but Shreve Jr moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
A swing and a miss from Shreve Jr.
Shreve Jr thumps Harada with a low kick.

Harada has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Harada pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Harada lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Harada wants to clinch
and Shreve Jr connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Kenuichio Harada has been cut.
Harada misses with a leg kick
and Shreve Jr counters with a crisp right hand that drops Harada! Shreve Jr lets Harada back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Harada is rocked!
Harada misses with a kick to the body
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Oh Harada is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Harada is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Shreve Jr doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Harada crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Harada's bad books for that mishap!
