The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Vladimir Khabensky and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blackwater fails with the takedown
and Thompson counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Thompson.
Blackwater looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Thompson connects with a nice short shot to Blackwater's temple.
