Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Chance Farley (ranked 7278 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ramon Valdez (ranked 5022 p4p, 0 weight class). Chance Farley has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chance Farley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ramon Valdez! The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Chad Campbell and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Valdez looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Excellent takedown into side control there by Valdez. Valdez is trying to get an arm triangle but Farley is defending well. Valdez looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Farley tries to bench press Valdez off him but Valdez keeps the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Farley is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Valdez asserts his dominance and retains side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Valdez in side control, throwing shots but Farley defends. Farley is pushing Valdez's head away, looking to escape. Valdez manages to hold on to the position though. Valdez is looking to take a break and control but Farley is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Valdez tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Sloppy strikes there by Valdez. Farley really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Valdez throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Farley works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure. Valdez is taking a breather. Farley says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. It looks like Valdez is going to stand back up.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Farley is defending against the submission attempts here by Valdez.
Valdez wants to stand but Farley has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Valdez is looking to stall here but Farley recovers full guard. Farley knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Valdez on the ground. Valdez wants to control from the top but Farley keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Valdez is pushing down on Farley's leg trying to pass to half guard. Farley is fighting to maintain full guard but Valdez has managed to sneak the leg through. Farley won't allow Valdez to pass to mount. Farley wants to get back to his feet. Valdez is trying to control the action in half guard but Farley is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Valdez has closed the distance and engaged Farley in a clinch.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Valdez tightens his grip and picks Farley up, before dumping him to the ground. Farley manages to land in guard. Farley throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ramon Valdez dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Valdez has taken the fight to the clinch.
Valdez blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Valdez pulls guard effortlessly. Valdez looking to control.

Valdez looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Valdez working a defensive guard here.
Farley stands up over Valdez, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Valdez looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Valdez is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Valdez doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Valdez is wriggling around but Farley manages to pass to half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Farley in particular looking to stall. Farley will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Ground and pound from Farley. Valdez has his hands clasped together around Farley's back. He's all about the action. Valdez is looking to escape. Farley throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Valdez to regain full guard. Valdez is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Valdez misses with a double jab
and Farley counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Valdez gets full guard. Farley wanted to stand there but Valdez had control of the position. Farley scoring with punches to the head and body. Valdez keeping moving, preventing Farley from controlling successfully. Farley is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Valdez looking to hit a scissor sweep but Farley is one step ahead there. Valdez manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Farley manages to get himself to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Valdez trying to control the position from guard on top but Farley is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Farley is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Ramon Valdez has got the better of the ground game so far. Valdez pushes down on Farley's leg and manages to get into half guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Valdez looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Farley with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Ramon Valdez will probably get the nod - 10:9. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Valdez closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Farley did well to prevent Valdez getting side control. Valdez seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Farley is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Ramon Valdez!
