Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kyo Yodachai (ranked 4266 p4p, 0 weight class) and Royler Gracie (ranked 621 p4p, 73 weight class). Gracie is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Olha a Explosão. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Gracie throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Yodachai half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.

Gracie closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Yodachai's guard.

My spies in Yaw-Yan Ardigma inform me that Gracie has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Gracie seems to be going for a rear naked choke. He has an arm under Yodachai's chin but Yodachai turns very nicely into Gracie's guard. Good BJJ skills being displayed there by Yodachai.

Royler Gracie showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Yodachai tries to close the distance and clinch up but Gracie swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Gracie feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Yodachai wants to sweep here but Gracie controlling him for the moment.

Gracie had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Yodachai defends it easily.

Yodachai paying the price for stalling here - he's pushing hard on the arm trying to free himself but it's no use! He's tapped! WOW, quick submission from Gracie - great work!
