Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sake Chu (ranked 2489 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bill Beukeboom (ranked 1602 p4p, 0 weight class). Chu comes to the cage accompanied by Daughtry - Renegade. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, David Hoff and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beukeboom scores with a nice head shot.
Beukeboom looks to land a left hand but Chu moved out of range nicely.
Beukeboom throws a combination. Chu tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Beukeboom forces Chu back against the cage and clinches.
Chu tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Beukeboom lands a right hand that snaps the head of Chu backwards.
Beukeboom throws a punch but it's blocked by Chu.
Beukeboom doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Chu lands a body punch in the clinch.
Chu breaks from the clinch.
Beukeboom lands a jab.
Beukeboom scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A swing and a miss from Chu.
Chu has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Cozad The Island in the buildup to the fight.
Beukeboom displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Chu throws out the jab.
Beukeboom lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Beukeboom.
Beukeboom steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Chu.
Chu ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Beukeboom moves away.
Beukeboom slips a jab from Chu.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Chu uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Beukeboom.
Chu ducks under a wild hook from Beukeboom.
A swing and a miss from Beukeboom.
Beukeboom throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Chu.
Chu fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Beukeboom on the side of the head.
It looks like Bill Beukeboom has been cut.
Chu sends Beukeboom crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Chu is motioning to the referee to let Beukeboom up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Beukeboom is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Chu walks into a straight right hand from Beukeboom.
Beukeboom is still on wobbly legs! Can Chu finish him?
Chu swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Beukeboom goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Beukeboom misses with a wild body shot.
It looked like Chu wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Chu steps in with a hook that catches Beukeboom right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Chu follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Beukeboom looks absolutely devastated.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sake Chu!
Sake Chu bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
