Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Allan Kurma (ranked 885 p4p, 117 weight class) and Matteo Boretti (ranked 350 p4p, 45 weight class). Boretti has chosen Ozzy Osbourne - Bark at the Moon as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Allan Kurma! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Matteo Boretti! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Good leg kick by Boretti there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Boretti lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
It looks like Allan Kurma has been cut. Boretti fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Kurma looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Boretti connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Horrible takedown attempt by Kurma or perhaps it was just good defense by Boretti, which made it look bad. Boretti now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Boretti cracks a nice hook into Kurma's ribs. Kurma misses with a low kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The fight stays on the outside here - Kurma looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Kurma throws a head kick but Boretti moves out of range.
Kurma cracks Boretti with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
That's one minute gone in the round. Boretti throws a big shot that misses. Kurma swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. A punch lands to the side of Kurma 's head but he takes it in his stride. Boretti jabbing away but nothing is landing. Kurma throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Boretti wants to clinch. Kurma loads up on a big right hand but Boretti slips the punch. Kurma misses with a head kick.
Boretti looks like he wants to counter punch here. Kurma throws a head kick that misses letting Boretti counter with a right hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kurma looks to land a left hand but Boretti moved out of range nicely. Kurma walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Boretti paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Kurma misses with a straight left. Boretti scores with a crisp jab that stopped Kurma in his tracks. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Boretti lands a head kick!
Boretti lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Matteo Boretti is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Kurma blocks a jab. Kurma throws a head kick that misses. Kurma is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Boretti's half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kurma prevents Boretti from standing back up.
Kurma is pressing down on Boretti's thigh, looking to free his foot. Boretti is holding on for now. Kurma throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Kurma is stalling here. Boretti is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Kurma seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Boretti has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Kurma has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Kurma manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kurma is looking for a kimura but Boretti is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Kurma to get the leverage. Boretti is holding on to half guard well. Kurma thows a huge punch but Boretti dodges it nicely.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Kurma is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Boretti is just riding it out for now. Kurma eventually gives up the hold. Boretti looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Boretti wants to control but Kurma is keeping busy and won't allow it. Kurma throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Kurma missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Kurma throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Boretti avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Kurma. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Matteo Boretti dominated that round. The cut man is working on Allan Kurma's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Boretti takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Boretti scores with a decent looking hook. Kurma swats away the attempt to clinch by Boretti. Kurma swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Matteo Boretti seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kurma tries to clinch but fails miserably and Boretti counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Kurma displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Boretti throws out the jab. Boretti with a jab. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Boretti lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kurma circles away quickly and effectively. Kurma wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Kurma fails with a takedown attempt. Kurma avoids a lazy jab quite easily. As Boretti backs away, Kurma returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kurma is looking to clinch but Boretti is avoiding it.

Allan Kurma is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. A slow jab from Boretti misses its intended target. An attempted straight right counter from Kurma misses the target. Boretti misses with an uppercut
and Kurma counters with a lovely straight right hand! Boretti throws a shot to the body.
Kurma needs to keep his hands up - Boretti had a free shot at his head there. That kick from Kurma tenderised Boretti's leg. Boretti is trying to keep his angry face on. Matteo Boretti seems to be getting the better of the standup. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Kurma. Boretti shrugs it off though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kurma closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Kurma lands in his opponent's guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Boretti trying to keep a closed guard but Kurma is proving a slippery customer.
Kurma throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Boretti works some decent striking defense from the bottom. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Kurma in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Kurma trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Kurma trying to move into half guard but instead Boretti has managed to sweep! Boretti trying to control the position from guard on top but Kurma is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Boretti wants to stand but Kurma has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Allan Kurma overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kurma looking to hit a scissor sweep but Boretti is one step ahead there. Kurma trying to control the position.
Kurma has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Boretti can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Kurma looking for a sweep. Not yet Kurma, not yet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Boretti wants to control from the top but Kurma keeps moving. Boretti wants to stand but Kurma is controlling his posture from full guard. Kurma has his foot on Boretti's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Boretti works his way back into a safe position though. Kurma throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Boretti looking to sit in guard and control but Kurma gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kurma looking to pass the guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Matteo Boretti will probably get the nod - 10:9. The cut man is working on Allan Kurma's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Boretti rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kurma moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Decent striking displayed by Boretti there. Boretti throws a looping overhand right but Kurma ducks down to avoid it. A little feinted left hand from Kurma on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Boretti rushes Kurma and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Boretti throws a punch but it's blocked by Kurma. Kurma misses with a hook to the ribs.

Boretti throws a head punch that misses. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Boretti. Kurma blocks an uppercut.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Kurma blocks a body shot from Boretti. Boretti throws a head punch that misses. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Boretti creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Kurma lands with a left to the head. Kurma lands a left hand.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Boretti misses with a hook from the clinch. Boretti tries to throw a body punch but Kurma avoids it by throwing Boretti back against the cage. Boretti has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Kurma seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Boretti can turn it around. Kurma manages to break the clinch.
Kurma has his takedown stuffed and Boretti counters with a head kick. That will keep Kurma thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Kurma stalks Boretti and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Boretti's face. Boretti staggers backwards, shaken. Boretti getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Boretti fails in his attempt to clinch. Boretti just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromKurma. Boretti shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Matteo Boretti is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kurma takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Boretti misses with a hook. Kurma ducked under it nicely. Kurma is looking to counter with head kicks. Kurma lands with a slapping head kick. No joy there for Kurma, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Boretti scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Allan Kurma has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Kurma lands with an uppercut that bounces Boretti off the cage and back into range. Kurma gets off balance looking for a body kick and Boretti cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Kurma checks the leg kick nicely there.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Kurma throws a head kick that misses and Boretti counters with a good low kick that Kurma was not able to check. Kurma defending well as Boretti loads up on a big left hand. Kurma throws a big counter combination but Boretti scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Boretti ducks under a wild hook from Kurma. Boretti lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Boretti misses with a few strikes there.
Kurma drops his hands momentarily and Boretti takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Kurma takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Kurma throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Boretti fails in his attempt to clinch. Kurma fires out a quick counter leg kick but Boretti just manages to avoid it. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Boretti, as that shot connected.
And that's the end of the fight! Matteo Boretti comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Boretti winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Matteo Boretti decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
