Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ernest Graves (ranked 217 p4p, 30 weight class) and Shoju Bayushi (ranked 1363 p4p, 154 weight class). Bayushi is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Scorpions - Always Somewhere. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ernest Graves! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Shoju Bayushi! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Graves misses with a hook
and Bayushi connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Ernest Graves has been cut. Graves throws a hook but Bayushi avoids it easily. Graves misses with a wild combination.
Bayushi wants to land a leg kick but Graves is out of range. Nice uppercut lands for Bayushi. That snapped Graves's head back.
Bayushi throws a body shot but no joy. Ernest Graves seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Graves ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bayushi moves away. Graves lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bayushi circles away quickly and effectively. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A cross from Graves lands. Bayushi tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Bayushi is looking to score with low kicks. Graves throws an off balance right hand
and Bayushi counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Graves defending well as Bayushi loads up on a big left hand. Bayushi has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
That's one minute gone in the round. Graves works the jab nicely. Graves misses with a right hand and Bayushi counters with a left right combination that sends Graves crashing to the mat - Bayushi wastes no time in diving on top of him and pounding Graves out for a TKO! Devastating finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Shoju Bayushi! Our winner, Shoju Bayushi, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
