Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tyrell Williams (ranked 1938 p4p, 241 weight class) and Samuel Turbitt (ranked 1965 p4p, 243 weight class). Turbitt has chosen Tell Me Ma as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tyrell Williams! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Samuel Turbitt! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Williams throws a body kick that misses. Turbitt dives in for a single leg takedown but Williams sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Williams misses with a wild body shot. Williams connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Turbitt momentarily.
Turbitt feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Turbitt throwing strikes but missing. Turbitt has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Williams avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Turbitt throwing strikes from guard but Williams blocks nicely. Turbitt showing good wrestling skills to control the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Williams controlling Turbitt's posture. Williams knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Turbitt on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Turbitt passes Williams's left leg - he's now in half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Turbitt sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Williams defending well though. Turbitt missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Williams is defending against the submission attempts here by Turbitt.
Turbitt is trying to control the action in half guard but Williams is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Turbitt is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Poor strikes thrown by Turbitt there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Turbitt is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Williams has managed to escape the submission attempt.
