Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kimi Loiri (ranked 1897 p4p, 88 weight class) and Fu Leng (ranked 532 p4p, 22 weight class). Leng has chosen System Of A Down - Spiders as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leng throws a body shot but no joy.
Leng bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Leng throws out a loose jab but Loiri uses good head movement to avoid it.
Loiri connects with the punch.
It looks like Fu Leng has been cut.
Leng throws a shot from downtown. Loiri moves away and avoids it.
Leng tries to bum rush Loiri with a series of wild strikes but Loiri uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Leng dodges the punch combination from Loiri.
Leng wants to counter the offense by Loiri and move into the clinch position.
Loiri fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Leng, pushing him back against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Leng counters with a crisp one two that drops Loiri! Leng thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Loiri to his feet! Loiri is in big trouble!

and Leng counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Leng gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Loiri to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Loiri passes Leng's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Loiri is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Leng doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Loiri.

Leng slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Loiri drops back looking for a leg! Leng is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Leng manages to kick Loiri off! Loiri jumps back into Leng's guard.
Leng has control of Loiri's left arm, preventing Loiri from doing any damage.
Loiri wants to control from the top but Leng keeps moving.

Leng wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Loiri has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Leng can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

With the fighters up against the cage, Leng throws an elbow but misses.

Leng escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Leng displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Loiri throws out the jab.
Loiri connects with a body shot.

and Leng counters with a left to the body.
Loiri misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Leng falls off balance throwing a combination
and Loiri counters with a nice body shot.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Loiri throws an overhand right that lands on Leng's shoulder, as Leng tries to avoid the shot.
Fu Leng is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Kimi Loiri will probably get the nod.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Loiri lands a nice hook to Leng's body. Leng takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Loiri doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Leng counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kimi Loiri. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Loiri fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Leng on the side of the head.

Loiri looks to throw the jab but Leng is out of range.
Loiri misses with an uppercut
and Leng counters with a nice body shot.
Loiri throws a right and a left that Leng avoids nicely.

Leng drops Loiri with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Loiri looks back up at him and smiles so Leng waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Leng lands a big uppercut and this one is all over! His foe lies motionless on the canvas - a massive one punch knockout!
