Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Esa Kettu (ranked 1132 p4p, 146 weight class) and Roy Batty (ranked 694 p4p, 92 weight class). Batty is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by I've seen things you people wouldn't believe.... The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kettu misses with an uppercut.
Kettu connects with a crisp jab.
Kettu avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Kettu moves out of range of the strikes.
Batty throws an overhand right that lands on Kettu's shoulder, as Kettu tries to avoid the shot.

Kettu looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Batty has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Batty tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kettu paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Kettu lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Batty has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Batty and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

and Kettu cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Batty is rocked!
Batty walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from Kettu! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Esa Kettu!
A relieved looking Esa Kettu thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
