Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alex Parker (ranked 1325 p4p, 170 weight class) and Gustaf Stenbeck (ranked 1450 p4p, 181 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab, jab by Stenbeck - just one landing.
A cross from Stenbeck lands.
Stenbeck avoids the head kick by Parker.
Parker ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Stenbeck throws a hook but Parker blocks it.
Stenbeck blocks a head kick by Parker.
Stenbeck throws out a counter right but Parker avoids it with no problem.
Parker throws a leg kick that misses.
Parker misses with a head kick.
Stenbeck throws a sloppy head kick and Parker moves out of range easily.
Stenbeck throws a lazy right hand but Parker sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Parker was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Alex Parker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Parker throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Stenbeck stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

and Stenbeck counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Parker tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Parker throws a hook to the side of Stenbeck's head but Stenbeck sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Stenbeck lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Parker walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Stenbeck takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
We've been told by Parker's head coaches at Tōshi that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Parker lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Stenbeck checks a low kick from Parker.
Parker misses with a shot to the body
and Stenbeck makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Parker cracks a nice hook into Stenbeck's ribs.
Parker swings for the body but Stenbeck moves out of range.

Parker throws a half hearted mid kick.
Stenbeck throws a fast counter high kick but Parker manages to duck under it in time.
Parker lands with a kick to the temple. Stenbeck shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Parker lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Stenbeck uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Parker.
Parker moves out of range as Stenbeck strikes.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Parker cracks Stenbeck with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Stenbeck swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Stenbeck drops his hands momentarily. Parker doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Stenbeck staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Stenbeck doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:16 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Alex Parker!
Alex Parker seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
