Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Desmond Glass (ranked 200 p4p, 27 weight class) and Alessandro Orsini (ranked 280 p4p, 39 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Glass might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Across 110th Street by Bobby Womack. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
26 - 11 - 2, fighting out of London, Desmond Glass!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

21 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Alessandro Orsini!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Sam Margolis and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Orsini has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Orsini there as he acknowledges the shot.
Orsini connects with a right hand. Glass shakes it off.
It looks like Desmond Glass has been cut.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Orsini has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
That kick from Glass tenderised Orsini's leg. Orsini is trying to keep his angry face on.
