Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Brophy (ranked 1066 p4p, 137 weight class) and Hector Stefan (ranked 1176 p4p, 154 weight class). Brophy comes to the cage accompanied by Last Caress - Metallica. Stefan has chosen Onward to Victory as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are William Gold, Andrew Berry and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brophy bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Stefan's head.
Brophy misses with a hook
letting Stefan counter with a right hand.
Stefan fails to land with a series of punches.
A nice leg kick lands there from Brophy.
Stefan comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Brophy throws a solid leg kick but Stefan takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Brophy.
Brophy darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Brophy jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Stefan misses with a right hand
and Brophy counters with a lovely straight right hand!
A low kick from Stefan misses
and Brophy counters with a nice body kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Stefan misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Stefan pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Brophy moves away from the strike by Stefan.
Stefan throws a poor cross that misses
and Brophy counters with a nice low kick that buckles Stefan's knee momentarily.
Stefan thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Brophy if he has to take too many more of those.

Stefan moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Brophy lands with a cross.
Hector Stefan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stefan throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Brophy throwing a counter right hand but Stefan manages to avoid it.
Stefan missing with a left hand there. Brophy was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Stefan throws a lazy body kick
and Brophy counters with a body kick.
Brophy bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Brophy looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
A lazy left from Brophy finds it's target.
Nice body kick there by Stefan.
Brophy slips a straight right by Stefan.
Brophy fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Stefan on the side of the head.
A jab from Stefan misses.
Brophy throws a quick counter kick to the body but Stefan avoids it.
Stefan on the wrong end of a nice hook.

Brophy quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Stefan throws a right hand that misses
and Stefan takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Stefan connects with a single shot there.
Stefan looks for the body kick but Brophy saw that one coming.
Stefan throws a nice outside leg kick.
Brophy blocks the body kick.
Stefan throws a lazy uppercut
and Brophy counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
A shot to the liver by Stefan. Beautiful body shot.
Stefan scores with a jab to the head.
Brophy lands a big uppercut and Stefan crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Stefan looks OK. Brophy waves Stefan back to his feet!
Stefan is rocked!
Stefan throws a lazy head kick
and Brophy counters with a massive hook, right on the button! He's out cold! Damn, that was naaaaaasty! Hopefully he'll be OK.
