Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Konstantinos Nevrakis (ranked 1210 p4p, 147 weight class) and Jakub Balinski (ranked 3197 p4p, 342 weight class). Nevrakis comes to the cage accompanied by Winds of Ithaca. Jakub Balinski is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Balinski swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Nevrakis closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Balinski scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Balinski.
Nevrakis tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Balinski breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Balinski has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Nevrakis closes the distance and clinches.
Balinski tries to circle away but Nevrakis has him pinned against the cage.
Nevrakis tries to pull guard but Balinski holds him up against the cage and eventually Nevrakis drops back down to his feet.
Nevrakis jumps guard but Balinski stands there with Nevrakis around his waist. Nevrakis gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Konstantinos Nevrakis. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Balinski got a little sloppy there for a moment and Nevrakis has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Balinski has managed to get both his arms back between Nevrakis's legs - danger averted.

Balinski has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Nevrakis to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Balinski is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Nevrakis pulls down on the head and he's put Balinski to sleep! This one is all over!
