Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Junior Grace!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Sirus Hughes!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hughes ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Grace moves away.
Grace closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Hughes's guard.
Hughes wants to control position but Grace is using a can opener to pass guard... He's turned it into a full on guillotine from mount now! Big trouble for Hughes here! He's turning a lovely shade of purple and yep! He's tapping out! I would say world class Jiu Jitsu but is it really? It was nice but let's not get silly about it.
