Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Luther Jackson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Henry Lancaster!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Santiago Holmes and Peter Branson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Lancaster is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Jackson with a body shot.
Jackson takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Lancaster misses with a hook. Jackson ducked under it nicely.
Jackson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Lancaster.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Lancaster enables Jackson to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Lancaster manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Lancaster can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Jackson controls the pace.

Jackson loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jackson pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Lancaster is keeping the position for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jackson slips nicely into half guard.
Lancaster told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.
Jackson is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Lancaster!

Jackson is in the full mount, landing strikes.
We've been hearing that Jackson has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
Lancaster tries to hold on but Jackson postures up.
Jackson throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Lancaster really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Jackson postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Lancaster looks a forlorn figure.
Lancaster really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jackson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Lancaster is in all sorts of trouble here.

Jackson looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Lancaster is trying to escape the mount.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Lancaster is in a horrible position here. Jackson smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Jackson lands a big elbow.
Jackson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lancaster keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Jackson cracks Lancaster with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Jackson lands a big shot there that rocks Lancaster but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Jackson wants to finish this one by submission but Lancaster is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Jackson.
Jackson lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Jackson looking to isolate an arm here. Lancaster doesn't see it coming and as Jackson extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Jackson!
