Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Keiki Hale (ranked 1234 p4p, 24 weight class) and Daniel Kivela (ranked 2569 p4p, 108 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Daniel Kivela! The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Winston Alpacca and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kivela fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Hale to the ground. Kivela is now in Hale's guard. My spies in Temp Spar Gym inform me that Kivela has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! Hale is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Kivela is aware though and is defending well. Kivela advances position into side control! Kivela slows the pace down. We've been hearing good reports from Hale's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills.
