Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Nard Betker and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Farker shoots in for a takedown but Smith shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Farker tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Smith swivels and escapes.
Farker closes the distance and clinches up with Smith, looking for a takedown. Farker pushes Smith against the cage but Smith circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Martha Farker. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Smith throws a head kick that misses.
Smith is looking to land body kicks.
Smith tries a head kick but it misses.
Smith ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Smith throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Farker tried to counter with a leg kick but Smith avoided it.
Smith defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Farker.
Smith throws a sloppy head kick
and Farker counters with a big head kick but Smith shrugs it off.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Smith misses with a hook. Farker ducked under it nicely.
Smith looks to land a body kick but Farker moved away.
Farker tries to counter with a takedown but Smith is quick to defend against it.
A head kick misses from Smith.
Farker rushes Smith and presses him up against the cage.

Smith misses with a punch to the body.
With the fighters up against the cage, Smith throws an elbow but misses.
Farker lands an elbow inside.
It looks like Kenny Smith has been cut.
Smith has Farker pressed against the cage.
Farker jumps into guard, dragging Smith to the mat.
Smith tries to stand but Farker is controlling from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Smith stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Farker has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Smith manages to get his head free but now Farker has transitioned to an armbar! Smith grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Farker! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
