Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jo Jotaro (ranked 4899 p4p, 458 weight class) and Beream Tankersal (ranked 4069 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jo Jotaro! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Beream Tankersal! The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Viktor Lagutenko and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tankersal ducks right into an uppercut from Jotaro. Tankersal fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Tankersal fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Tankersal tries to clinch but Jotaro is having none of it. Tankersal shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Tankersal rushes Jotaro and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Tankersal pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Tankersal moves into the clinch successfully.
Tankersal wants a takedown but no success here.
Tankersal tries to pull guard but Jotaro forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Jo Jotaro has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Beream Tankersal. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jotaro effectively controlling the action here. Jotaro breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Tankersal throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jotaro's waist but Jotaro gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Tankersal off to one side.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tankersal fails with the takedown. Jotaro seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Jotaro keeps the fight on the outside. Jotaro misses with a two punch combination.
Tankersal lands a nice leg kick that just misses Jotaro's sensitive parts. Tankersal wants to clinch up but Jotaro keeps it at a distance. An attempted straight right counter from Jotaro misses the target. Tankersal closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Jotaro to the mat! Jotaro manages to get full guard. Tankersal must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Tankersal controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Jotaro throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Tankersal instigates a clinch. Tankersal breaks the clinch.
Tankersal tries to close the distance and clinch but Jotaro swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Tankersal fails miserably with a takedown attempt. No luck with that takedown attempt from Tankersal. Jotaro stuffs the takedown attempt from Tankersal. Tankersal gets slowly back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tankersal throws a lazy head kick and Jotaro counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
It looks like Beream Tankersal has been cut. Tankersal looks winded! Tankersal with a lazy takedown attempt and Jotaro counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. We've been told by Jotaro's head coaches at Russian Bears Training Center that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Jotaro avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Jotaro throws a nice looking combination but Tankersal bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Jotaro has closed the distance and engaged Tankersal in a clinch.

Tankersal tries to close the distance and clinch but Jotaro swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Jotaro throws a big counter combination but Tankersal scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tankersal tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jotaro swats him away and circles back towards the center. Tankersal scores with a hook to the body. Jotaro takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Tankersal pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Jotaro is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Tankersal can do to turn this around?

That's two minutes gone in the round. Tankersal postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Jotaro is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Tankersal, into his guard. Tankersal being controlled here, momentarily. Jotaro postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tankersal has control of Jotaro's left arm, preventing Jotaro from doing any damage. Tankersal bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jotaro's guard. Tankersal with a flurry of punches that miss. Tankersal postures up.
Jotaro wants to stand but Tankersal is controlling the position. Tankersal tries to free his leg and advance position but Jotaro is retaining full guard. Jotaro being controlled here, momentarily. Tankersal postures up and lands a big shot to Jotaro's brow.

Jotaro is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Tankersal is aware though and is defending well. Jotaro keeping full guard, as Tankersal tries to pass.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Tankersal moves in looking to clinch but Jotaro pushes him off. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Tankersal catches Jotaro with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Tankersal tries to clinch but Jotaro moves out of range. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Jo Jotaro will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Beream Tankersal's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

As Tankersal looks to move away, Jotaro throws a big counter combo but Tankersal just gets out of the way. Tankersal misses with a head kick.
Jotaro appears to be looking for a big counter. Tankersal tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Jotaro defends well and Tankersal ends up having to push Jotaro into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Tankersal fails in his attempt to clinch. Tankersal darts in looking for a takedown but Jotaro gets double underhooks and turns Tankersal into the cage. Tankersal shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Jotaro pinned against the cage. Jotaro gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Tankersal is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Jotaro is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Tankersal trying to control here.
Jotaro is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Tankersal doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Jotaro.

Jotaro defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Tankersal. Jotaro has closed the distance and engaged Tankersal in a clinch.

And that's the end of the fight! Jo Jotaro showed his dominance in that final round. Well Jotaro has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
