Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gaius Marius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dakota Finley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Finley has chosen Row Row Fight The Powah as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Dakota Finley has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Chad Campbell and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Finley moves out of range of the strikes.
Marius digs a good body shot into Finley's ribs.
Marius throws a series of punches but Finley avoids them all with ease.
Marius shoots in for a takedown but Finley shows good takedown defense.
Marius throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Finley sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Finley looks for a takedown but Marius sprawls well.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Marius feints and as Finley raises his hands in defense, Marius changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Marius wants to free his trapped foot but Finley is holding on for dear life with his legs.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Marius is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Finley can do to turn this around?

Finley had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Marius is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Finley Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Marius 's back instead.
Finley doesn't have the hooks in and Marius manages to turn into his guard.

Marius lands with a nice combination. Finley backs away looking to recover.

Marius is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Finley shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
A lazy left from Marius finds it's target.

Finley is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Marius can't fight it off and eventually Finley manages to take the fight to the floor. Marius looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Marius , winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
