The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Franklyn Lucas and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cupido tries to clinch but Drew moves out of range.
Drew is looking for the big counter here.

and Drew counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Cupido gets underhooks to prevent Drew 's takedown attempt.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Cupido got a little sloppy there for a moment and Drew has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Cupido has managed to get both his arms back between Drew 's legs - danger averted.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Drew is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Cupido postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Drew is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Cupido, into his guard.

Bat Drew showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Drew wants to clinch up but Cupido keeps it at a distance.
Cupido lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Drew shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Cupido defends it nicely.
Cupido gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Come on Cupido - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Drew wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Drew is trying to force a seperation but Cupido has the dominant position.
Cupido gets control of Drew 's arms and successfully pulls guard. Cupido will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Cupido throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

Cupido will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Drew is stalling in the full guard.
