Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Reed Andrews and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bermudez misses with a takedown attempt - Frecyzk sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Frecyzk lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Bermudez fails with the takedown
and Frecyzk counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
It looks like Jehova Bermudez has been cut.
Bermudez misses with a takedown
and Frecyzk counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Vic Frecyzk has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jehova Bermudez.
Frecyzk connects with a high kick.
Frecyzk throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Bermudez.
Bermudez shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Frecyzk pinned against the cage. Frecyzk gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Frecyzk appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.

and Frecyzk counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Bermudez takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Bermudez is still on wobbly legs! Can Frecyzk finish him?
Bermudez shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Frecyzk as he jumps to the side.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bermudez takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Bermudez seems to have recovered his senses.

Bermudez with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Frecyzk to score with a decent uppercut.
That has opened up Jehova Bermudez's cut even more.
Bermudez shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
A little feinted left hand from Frecyzk on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Bermudez looks winded!
Bermudez shoots in looking for a takedown. Frecyzk tries to sprawl out of it but Bermudez keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Frecyzk manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Frecyzk fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Bermudez.
Frecyzk works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Bermudez doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Frecyzk counters with a three punch combo that has Bermudez backing up. Bermudez nods at Frecyzk to acknowledge the strikes.
Bermudez shoots in looking for a takedown but Frecyzk manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bermudez's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Frecyzk throws a leg kick which misses Bermudez's front leg but catches the back leg as Bermudez tries to avoid it.

Vic Frecyzk is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bermudez tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Bermudez shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Frecyzk manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Bermudez stands up over Frecyzk, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bermudez gets to his feet and stands over Frecyzk, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Frecyzk felt that one! Bermudez unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Frecyzk from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jehova Bermudez!
Jehova Bermudez got down on his knees post fight and begged the management for a title shot. 'Please, I want that title shot so bad! Give it to me!'
