Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dave Wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Ruger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wilson is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Jim Ruger has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A solid leg kick lands there for Wilson.
Wilson is breathing heavily.
Ruger throws a low kick, looking for Wilson's leg but Wilson calmly moves out of range.
Ruger shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Wilson avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Ruger.
Wilson is defending against the submission attempts here by Ruger.
Ruger is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Ruger has hold of Wilson's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Wilson manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Ruger should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Ruger is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Ruger extends the arm and Wilson is forced to tap!
