Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Kerr (ranked 224 p4p, 13 weight class) and John Smith (ranked 133 p4p, 9 weight class). Smith has chosen Song 2 as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Mark Kerr! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
21 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Smith! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Atkins and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Smith throws a right hand that misses
and Kerr counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Smith kicks Kerr off and gets back to his feet. Smith ducks under a wild hook from Kerr. Kerr cracks Smith with a right hand to the side of the head. Kerr gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Kerr looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Smith keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Kerr. Smith throws an overhand right that lands on Kerr's shoulder, as Kerr tries to avoid the shot. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Smith.
A chopping leg kick lands by Smith. Kerr misses with a looping right. Kerr blocks a head kick by Smith.
Smith throws a jab when Kerr was well out of range. Kerr uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Smith has time to react. Smith connects with a jab. Kerr ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Kerr tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Smith manages to circle out of the way.
That's one minute gone in the round. Good standup being displayed there by Kerr as he connects with a hook. Smith throws a leg kick but Kerr sees it coming and moves out of range. Kerr closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Smith out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Mark Kerr! Mark Kerr decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
