Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Johannes Brahms (ranked 788 p4p, 41 weight class) and Oshan Jackson (ranked 2414 p4p, 119 weight class). Brahms comes to the cage accompanied by 40 : 1 - Sabaton. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 2, fighting out of New York, Johannes Brahms!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Oshan Jackson!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Daniel Blasius and Nard Betker.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brahms ducks under a wild hook from Jackson.

It looks like Johannes Brahms has been cut.
Jackson missing with a left hand there. Brahms was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Brahms went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Brahms's corner calls for a 1-2. Brahms obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
The fighters circling - Jackson throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Oshan Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jab, jab by Brahms - just one landing.


It looks like Oshan Jackson has been cut.
Some wild striking there from Brahms.
Jackson takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Brahms throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Brahms lands a lovely overhand right.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Brahms is looking to slow Jackson down with leg kicks.
Jackson wants to clinch up but Brahms keeps it at a distance.
Brahms ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Jackson missing with a left hand there. Brahms was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
As Jackson backs away, Brahms returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Jackson throws a lazy uppercut
and Brahms connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Brahms shoots in but Jackson avoids the takedown attempt easily.
We've been hearing reports that Brahms has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Brahms connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Brahms's jab looks to have found its range, popping Jackson under the eye.
Brahms avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Brahms scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Jackson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Brahms tries to avoid it but Jackson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Brahms to the ground. Brahms escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Brahms fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.


Jackson is rocked!
Brahms swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Jackson is still on wobbly legs! Can Brahms finish him?
Brahms moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Jackson seems to have recovered his senses.
Brahms lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Jackson can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Brahms and Jackson drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Brahms.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Johannes Brahms!
A very excited looking Johannes Brahms made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
Oshan Jackson spoke after the fight, saying 'I tryed my best i want to thank the fans for coming out and supporting me. Ill be back and next time ill get the finish for you guys.'.
