The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turturro drives through and clinches with Teach against the cage.
Turturro decides to pull guard.
Turturro has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
Turturro is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Teach frees his head nicely. Oh but Turturro has switched to an armbar! Teach is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!

In his post fight interview, Giampaolo Turturro started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
