Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Desperately To Be Positive (ranked 2693 p4p, 327 weight class) and Oleksander Kurtzov (ranked 2425 p4p, 295 weight class). Kurtzov has chosen Imperial March as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Oleksander Kurtzov!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, James Ackerman and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
To Be Positive misses with a wild body shot.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Kurtzov! But no joy.
Kurtzov's coach down at Black Flag Fight Club was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Kurtzov's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
To Be Positive feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Kurtzovs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
To Be Positive misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
A jab lands there for To Be Positive.
Nice uppercut there from To Be Positive.
Kurtzov walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Kurtzov moves into the clinch successfully.
To Be Positive is trying to break the clinch but Kurtzov has him pressed against the cage.
Kurtzov successfully pulls guard.
Kurtzov looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kurtzov looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but To Be Positive is defending well. Kurtzov quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! To Be Positive has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Kurtzov celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Oleksander Kurtzov!
Oleksander Kurtzov decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
