Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Cage (ranked 2081 p4p, 219 weight class) and Kevin Shinnie (ranked 2832 p4p, 275 weight class). Cage comes to the ring accompanied by Walk - Pantera. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Kevin Shinnie enters the ring!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
35 - 17 - 0, fighting out of London, Johnny Cage! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kevin Shinnie! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Tarja Halkonen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cage drives through and clinches with Shinnie against the ropes.
Cage breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Cage rushes Shinnie and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch. Shinnie wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Cage prevents Shinnie from breaking the clinch. A head punch blocked on the inside by Shinnie. Cage misses with some punches.
Shinnie manages to break the clinch.
Cage clinches up with Shinnie and pushes him back against the ropes. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Cage. Shinnie is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the ropes. Cage prevents Shinnie from breaking the clinch. Shinnie can't break the clinch.
Cage escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Cage avoids the body shot from Shinnie.
Cage swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cage has closed the distance and engaged Shinnie in a clinch.
Cage breaks from the clinch.
Shinnie keeps the fight on the outside. Cage closes the distance looking to clinch and Shinnie counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
It looks like Johnny Cage has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shinnie takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Shinnie lands with a nice body kick. A jab from Shinnie does it's job there. Cage darts in and clinches Shinnie up against the ropes. Cage breaks the clinch.
Shinnie throws a body kick that misses. Shinnie's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Shinnie duly obliges. Cage on the wrong end of a nice hook. Cage wants to clinch. Cage throws out a leg kick but Shinnie moves out of range and Cage only half commits. Shinnie throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A bone on bone clash there as Shinnie blocks the leg kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Shinnie circles away from the clinch attempt.
Cage moves out of range as Shinnie strikes. Cage takes a body punch but keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A big right from Cage misses. Cage throws out a loose jab but Shinnie uses good head movement to avoid it. Cage fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Cage throws a looping overhand right but Shinnie ducks down to avoid it. Cage throws a lazy uppercut
and Shinnie counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Cage moves into range and connects with a jab. Cage tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Shinnie paws at him with a jab and circles away. It seemed like Shinnie was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Shinnie avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Nice uppercut there from Shinnie. Cage tries to clinch and Shinnie counters with a right hand to the body. Cage closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes. Cage scores with a shot to the side of Shinnie's head. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Cage breaks from the clinch.
Cage jabbing away but nothing is landing. Shinnie goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Johnny Cage seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Cage wants to clinch. Shinnie now looks to counter with a shot at the body. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Kevin Shinnie will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Johnny Cage's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Cage bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. The fight stays on the outside here - Cage looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Cage checks a leg kick nicely. Cage keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Cage drops his hands momentarily and Shinnie takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Shinnie swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Cage tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Shinnie paws at him with a jab and circles away. Shinnie misses with a series of wild punches.
Cage rushes Shinnie and presses him up against the ropes. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cage manages to break the clinch.
Cage fails in his attempt to clinch. A jab from Shinnie finds it's way through Cage's defenses. Shinnie thows a left - swing and a miss! Shinnie scores with the left hand. Cage knows he should have avoided that one.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shinnie misses with a looping left. Shinnie slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Shinnie throws a body shot but no joy. A looping hook to the body misses from Shinnie. Cage does a little dance to reset his feet. Cage fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Shinnie, pushing him back against the ropes. Cage breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Shinnie has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Shinnie has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Cage. Shinnie misses the shot to the body. Shinnie lands a jab to the head.
Cage throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Shinnie. Shinnie throws a chopping leg kick but Cage manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Cage lands with a right hand.
It looks like Kevin Shinnie has been cut. Cage ducks under a wild hook from Shinnie. Shinnie misses with a hook. Cage ducked under it nicely. Cage fails in his attempt to clinch. Cage tries to clinch but Shinnie is having none of it. Shinnie explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Cage fails with an attempt to clinch.
Cage tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Shinnie manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Cage tries to clinch and Shinnie counters with a nice uppercut. Cage takes a jab right on the kisser.
Cage tries to clinch but Shinnie moves away and Shinnie counters with a nice uppercut. Shinnie scores with a hook.
Cage is rocked! Cage is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Shinnie throws a hook to the side of Cage's head but Cage sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. A slapping leg kick lands for Shinnie.
Shinnie lands a big shot that drops Cage! Can he finish him?
Oh Cage is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Johnny Cage's cut is getting worse. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Cage is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Cage seems to have got his legs back now. Shinnie stands up from Cage's guard - Shinnie perhaps looking for a knockout. Shinnie throws a looping overhand right but Cage ducks down to avoid it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kevin Shinnie showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Cage misses with a hook
and Shinnie counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Shinnie connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Cage's hands. Shinnie throws the kick towards the body but Cage avoids it. Cage tries to clinch but Shinnie moves away and Shinnie counters with a straight right hand. Nice body punch from Shinnie. Shinnie drops Cage with a left right combo! Shinnie follows him down to the ground into side control.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Shinnie decides to stand back up. Shinnie steps back and let's Cage get back to his feet. Shinnie gets in close and tags Cage with a short punch that almost sends Cage to the mat! Oh Cage is in big trouble! He turns his back on Shinnie, trying to create some distance but Shinnie rushes him, striking wildly and Cage goes down! The referee tackles Shinnie into the ropes to end the fight! Shinnie is one violent man!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:32 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kevin Shinnie!
