Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Harold Shipman (ranked 2221 p4p, 251 weight class) and EA Poe (ranked 1524 p4p, 179 weight class). Shipman comes to the cage accompanied by I'll beat yo ass.. Poe has chosen Unleashing The Bloodthirsty by Cannibal Corpse as his entrance music. EA Poe will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Harold Shipman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
27 - 22 - 0, fighting out of New York, EA Poe! The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Aafke Stam and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Poe lands a leg kick that knocks Shipman off balance momentarily. Poe throws a predictable looking body shot
and Shipman cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Sloppy strikes from Poe. Those never looked like landing. Shipman jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit. Poe misses with a straight left. Poe scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Poe lands a nice shot to the body.
Poe swings for the body but Shipman moves out of range.
Shipman is looking to counter with a body kick. Poe throws a poor cross that misses
and Shipman counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Poe! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Poe tries to buck Shipman off but Shipman is having none of it. Shipman wants to control but Poe is keeping him busy. Shipman slows the pace down. Shipman fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Shipman landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Poe tries to get back to half guard but can't. Shipman has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Shipman is looking to take a break and control but Poe is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shipman working away. Poe manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Shipman trying to hold on to Poe's head to control him but Poe postures up.
Poe wants to take a breather but Shipman is having none of it. Shipman is defending against the submission attempts here by Poe.
Poe content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Shipman might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Shipman has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Poe is working away from the top position though. Shipman's coaches at Kombat Hangar 18 have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Shipman preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. Poe trying to control from half guard but Shipman is working away. Shipman trying to control but Poe postures up.
The fighters are battling for position here. Shipman manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Poe trying to control but Shipman is working from the bottom. Poe is pushing down on Shipman's leg trying to pass to half guard. Shipman is fighting to maintain full guard but Poe has managed to sneak the leg through.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Poe seems to be working for a kimura but Shipman defends the submission attempt. Shipman trying to control from the bottom.
Poe missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Shipman slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Shipman keeping full guard, as Poe tries to pass. Poe content to stall in guard here. Poe told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Poe missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Poe controls from within his opponent's guard.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Shipman darts in looking for a takedown but Poe gets double underhooks and turns Shipman into the cage. Poe appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Poe lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. No joy there for Poe, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Shipman was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Shipman tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. A big left from Poe misses. The fighters circle momentarily. Poe darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Poe lands the left hand. Sloppy strikes from Poe. Those never looked like landing. Jab from Poe. Poe fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Poe missing with a left hand there. Shipman was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. EA Poe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Poe tests Shipman's chin there with a solid looking shot. Some wild striking there from Poe.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
EA Poe dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Poe rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Shipman counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
It looks like EA Poe has been cut. Poe with a jab. Poe throws a hook to the side of Shipman's head but Shipman sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. A big left from Poe misses. Shipman appears to be looking for a big counter. Poe jabs Shipman right on the nose. Shipman blinks but takes it well. Poe throws a shot from downtown. Shipman moves away and avoids it. Shipman is looking to counter punch. Shipman changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Poe tries to avoid it but Shipman manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Poe to the ground. Poe escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Sloppy strikes from Shipman. Those never looked like landing. Poe cracks a nice hook into Shipman's ribs. A leg kick checked by Shipman. Shipman swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Poe pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Shipman moves out of range as Poe strikes. A big right from Poe misses. Donk. Poe catches Shipman right on the button with a cross. Shipman drops Poe with a left and a right! Oh, Poe is hurt - Shipman dives into side control looking to finish!
Poe is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Shipman tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Poe is still in real trouble! Can Shipman finish him?

Shipman wants to finish this one by submission but Poe is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Shipman. Poe seems to have recovered his senses. Shipman looking to control but Poe is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Shipman landing strikes from the mount and Poe is in trouble! Poe is squirming around, avoiding Shipman's attempts to control the action. Poe is looking to get to half guard. Poe is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Shipman landing strikes from the mount. Shipman putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Shipman looking for a guillotine from mount but Poe is having none of it. Poe is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Poe is looking to get to half guard. Poe regains half guard. Shipman trying to control the pace. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Poe wants to improve his position but Shipman is controlling well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Harold Shipman overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Shipman postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Shipman landing some decent shots from guard. Shipman seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Harold Shipman dominated that second round. The cut man is working on EA Poe's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Nice body punch from Poe. Poe lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Shipman drives through and clinches with Poe against the cage.
Shipman has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Poe is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Poe blocks an uppercut.
Shipman lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Shipman. Shipman lands a hook that snaps the head of Poe backwards. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Poe breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Shipman throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Shipman moves away from the strike by Poe.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shipman avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Shipman displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Poe throws out the jab. Poe throws an off balance right hand
and Shipman counters with a crisp right that sends Poe to the canvas! Shipman follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:16 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Harold Shipman! In his post fight interview, Harold Shipman started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
