Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Johannes Brahms (ranked 662 p4p, 34 weight class) and Alejandro Sepulveda (ranked 1188 p4p, 72 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Brahms might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to 40 : 1 - Sabaton. Sepulveda has chosen Lady Gaga - Alejandro as his entrance music. Alejandro Sepulveda is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 2, fighting out of New York, Johannes Brahms!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 29 - 18 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alejandro Sepulveda!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Paul Aken and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sepulveda throws a leg kick that is checked
and Sepulveda takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Sepulveda connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

It looked like Brahms was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Sepulveda.
Brahms throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Sepulveda connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Sepulveda has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Brahms lands a nice shot that snaps Sepulveda's head back.

Alejandro Sepulveda seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

We've been hearing that Brahms has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

Brahms is staying active underneath Sepulveda, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Brahms is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Sepulveda can do to turn this around?

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Brahms lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Sepulveda has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Sepulveda and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Brahms displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Sepulveda throws out the jab.

As Sepulveda looks to move away, Brahms throws a big counter combo but Sepulveda just gets out of the way.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

Sepulveda throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Brahms will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Sepulveda connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Brahms momentarily.

Sepulveda tests Brahms's chin there with a solid looking shot.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Sepulveda decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Sepulveda wants to free his trapped foot but Brahms is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Sepulveda is looking to pass Brahms's guard but actually Brahms recovers to full guard.

Alejandro Sepulveda comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Sepulveda has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
